Pre-heat the tea kettle and cup by filling them with hot water until they feel warm and then remove the water.
Place one teaspoon of Nilgiri tea leaves per cup of water (250ml) inside the tea kettle and start boiling for 3 to 5 minutes to let the tea mix. The longer the tea boils, the stronger will be the taste. So adjust the boiling time in accordance to your taste.
Pour into your tea cups and relish it with sugar or honey as per your choice. You can also add milk to it if you would like to have milk tea. To get the actual flavor of Nilgiri tea, try at least once without milk, sugar, or lemon.
