This Orthodox Tea from Darjeeling has a layered flavor profile and multiple textural components easily one of the most vibrant and complex teas we’ve tried this season. Like most teas from the Darjeeling estates, it has a noticeable amount of restraint that sort of reins in all the different aromatic compounds that can, otherwise, feel at odds.

Tasting Notes:

The liquor is exceptionally well-balanced and velvety. Notes of red flowers and wet wood dominate the middle, intense for most parts. Hints of unripe watermelon come through towards the end and linger in the finish.
