Our Premium Assam CTC represents the best of North Assam’s tea-growing heritage. Sourced from select gardens in Upper Assam — the heartland of India’s tea industry — this is a step above everyday CTC, offering a more refined cup with greater complexity and a smoother finish.
North Assam’s unique terroir, characterised by rich alluvial soil deposited by the Brahmaputra and a warm, humid climate, produces tea leaves with an unmistakable malty depth. This premium grade is selected for its bright, coppery liquor and consistent quality across batches.
More complex than standard CTC, with a rounded quality that rewards attention. Does not turn bitter even with longer steeping — making it very forgiving for everyday use.
